HAPPY DECEMBER & exciting news :)

>> Tuesday, 1 December 2009

So yesterday I found no inspiration but I did find some cool DVD's that were under a fiver on amazon. That was quite cool.

Right now I am listening to Biffy Clyro's album Only Revolutions, my Dad's music tastes is quite good. He had Florence and the Machine's album :) I am also uploading some christmas songs onto my computer as it is only 24 DAYS. Amazing.

In other amazing news, and this is the only place i am going to say it, i got two offers from two of the university places i applied. University of Gloucestershire and Sheffield Hallum University. It still hasn't really hit me because I sent my UCAS off last Thursday and Gloucestershire seemed like it would be really hard to get into. And in conjunction with Bucks my top choice!

It makes me very happy and as the last year of 2009 i plan to do a bit more work and concentrate on school work!

My promise to you that I hope I can keep!

>> Thursday, 26 November 2009

I have realised that i hate in when I go onto the blogs I follow and they do not update daily, but I am a hypocrite because I don't update my blog daily. Such a shame really, but I just seem not to have that much to write about.

Well, I have been doing stuff but it isn't really that interesting. However i did send off my UCAS last night, I am going to study Event Management, Where? My top two choices are Bucks New Uni and the University of Gloucestershire, lets hope I get in!

What else have I been doing? Well i'm working hard on my work experience helping organised an
event for next March, but more information will come nearer the time. And school is getting really
busy so i need to do some more work on all that, Year 13 is quite stressful but I like it.

We have started the rehearsals for our 6th form entertainment, i am playing a year 7. I think that is
because i look like one, what with my height! Need to start learning my lines and dances. If you wanted
to know my dance skills are pretty bad!!

Anyhow that is school for you, and really everything that has been going on. However i am going to
update daily because i enjoy reading the blogs i follow every day and i hope some people enjoy reading
mine :)

Katie's 18th

>> Sunday, 22 November 2009

So her party was amazing and really good fun. There are hundreds of pictures but alas i cannot put them all up and really some of them don't deserve their place in cyberspace.

I slept over which was fun except for the rain which was pounding on to the marque so it sounded like we were in a tent not a bedroom and that the we were by a waterfall. I also went for Katie's family meal @ lunch time which was at the White Horse across from her house. I had a great time, the food was lovely and it was nice meeting her family friends.

So everything was fine until the end when this manager came up and started talking about how the fact we had not picked puddings on the al cart menu was the reason to the puddings taking so long. By the time mine came most people had finished. He came up on Katie's 18th and told us that the reason our food was late and not at the same time was in simple words OUR FAULT. I have never in my life wanted to stand up and say something to anyone as much as i wanted to today. He had NO RIGHT to talk to us like that, it felt like i was in school! I can't really explain it right on here but no doubt i will be telling loads of people about it in school.

KATIE I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME, THANK YOU FOR BEING BORN :) AND CAN YOU PLEASE TURN 18 AGAIN?

Children in Need

>> Friday, 20 November 2009

A good cause, but over-rated?

In my opinion between comic relief and children in need i would hands down pick the first one. Why? because there is humour alongside the serious message, and when i say humour i mean non-cheesy Tess and Wogan humour but actual comedy. And comic relief along with the really bad acts actually have some good things added into the show.

I watched 15 minutes of Children in Need at quarter to 11 this evening, first i had to endure a bad sketch with the two people from the impressionist show pretending to be Tess and Wogan which was good until the real Tess and Wogan walked on and dragged it out for another 5 minutes. Then i had to watch some songs from the musical Legally Blond, Yes the film has been made in to a musical! I can usually stomach alright musicals but that was beyond bad. Duncan from blue is in it but every time he sang they changed it to a pop song backing-track! It is a musical which is my mind means sing a stage song? save bad pop for christmas number one's please.

I want to say that because it is charity event i can forget all the bad points and embrace the fun of it but really it is crap in comparison to comic relief.

But still donating money to the cause it represents is worth while and as they say "every penny counts" click here

I have decided to, once again, title my blog posts. They look cool!

What is todays topic? School, life, friends, stress, hats, family?

I'm not sure! An update on my life maybe? or not?

How about my dislike for New Moon or my excitement for Christmas?

What about a list of things you should read? or watch? How about a how to do video or one where you hear me sing?

i don't feel like talking about any of these things and in actual fact i don't feel like blogging at all.

Tired is I right now.

so SLEEP SLEEP for me :)
